SR Nagar : Garbage pile-up irks locals

SR Nagar: Rampant dumping of garbage in an open plot here has been giving the locals sleepless nights for a while. Several residents residing in the locality and vicinity allege that the GHMC workers are dumping garbage in the open plot in their colony.

Expressing their displeasure over converting the open space into a dumping ground, V Reddy, a local resident, deplored: "We have warned the workers several times but they are just adamant and do what they feel like. We have tried to intimate their senior workers but they too won't heed our request."
