Tirumala: The TTD on Wednesday denied the reports making rounds in social media regarding resuming the darshan for senior citizens at Tirumala temple.
The reports appearing in the social media are false and the TTD has not taken any decision on providing darshan to senior citizens, said the TTD in a statement issued here on Wednesday. It has clarified that due to Covid restrictions, the TTD is not allowing children below 10 years and senior citizens above 65 years for darshan at Tirumala temple adhering to the guidelines of Central and State governments.
The TTD appealed to the devotees not to believe such rumours and false news.
Meanwhile, TTD Executive Officer Dr K S Jawahar Reddy at a meeting he held with officials on Wednesday urged them to focus on getting feedback from the devotees including suggestions, the problems they faced during their pilgrimage and also on the facilities being extended by the TTD to the devotees for taking measures for fine tuning the TTD administration.
