KLU releases schedule of engg entrance exams
KL University would conduct Engineering Entrance Examination (EEE) 2017 on April 16, 20, 29, 30 and on May 1, for admission into the engineering courses for the academic year 2017-18.
KL University would conduct Engineering Entrance Examination (EEE) 2017 on April 16, 20, 29, 30 and on May 1, for admission into the engineering courses for the academic year 2017-18. KL University vice-president Raja Hareen told newsmen that the University would conduct EEE on April 16 which would be written examination and April 20 examination would be online examination. He said that the EEE would be conducted on April 16 and 20 will be exclusively for the students of Andhra Pradesh.
He further said that for students of Telengana and other states, the EEE would be conducted on April 29, 30 and May 1. The written examination for Telengana and other states would be conducted on April 29 and online examination will be conducted on April 30 and May 1 he said.
The KLU Convener Dr Ramakrishna said that there are 50 examination centres all over India where the EEE would be conducted. He added that about 35,000 students would attend the KLU EEE 2017. The talented students who perform well in the EEE would get fee waiver of 25 percent to 100 per cent and the top 20 ranked students would get cash awards he added.
KLU Admissions Director P Srinivas said that the KL Engineering college was ranked first for the second consecutive year by the central government (NIRF). He said that the results for the EEE 2017 would be announced in two phases, first phase results would be announced on May 4 and the second phase result in the second week of May, he added.
