MLA inaugurates Andhra Bank’s new branch office
MLA Damacharla Janardhanarao, inaugurated the new premises of CSR Sarma College branch of Andhra Bank in the newly constructed building beside Devudu Cheruvu Park, on Wednesday.

The MLA said that the Andhra Bank is having 60 branches and is operating 78 ATMs in the district. He said that the bank is helping in the financial development of the people in the district. KSD Siva Varaprasad, circle general manager of the Andhra Bank said that the bank issued Rs 250 crore as loans to self-help groups, Rs 1480.73 crore to farmers, Rs 62.29 crore to students, Rs 239.06 crore for housing, Rs 700.15 crore to MSME industries in the district.
He said that the bank had issued a total of Rs 2,951.53 crore as loans while received 2,106.98 crore as deposits from the public in the district.
The Ongole DGM, KSPV Ramanamurthy said that Andhra Bank was helping all sections of public for their financial uplift and achieving advancement of the bank as well as society.
The AGM, V Krishnaiah, branch manager T Srinivas, zonal office managers and other staff also participated in the programme.
