Students steal the show at R-Day celebrations
Students from various schools performed cultural programmes at the Republic Day celebrations held in Police Parade Grounds here on Friday. The students have displayed the cultural programmes on national integrity and patriotism, which enthralled the audience at the parade grounds.

About 300 students of St Teresa’s Girls High School performed a dance to the song, ‘Mudu Rangula Jenda – Vande Mataram’. The students in the costumes of Katta Brahmana, Alluri Sitaramaraju, Jhansi Lakshmibai, Rudrama Devi and Bharata Mata performed dance that conveyed the message ofpatriotism and integrity.
Later, students of Sarvani Public School danced to ‘Ma Tujhe Salaam’. Sir CR Reddy Public School students and Kasturiba Municipal Corporation Girls’ High School students performed Kuchipudi and other dance ballets on the occasion.The tribal students from Kukunuru and Velairpadu performed the tribal dance.
