Collector launches Surya Aradhana
On the directions of the State Government, the district administration has conducted the Surya Aradhana programme here at Indoor Stadium on Sunday.
Eluru: On the directions of the State Government, the district administration has conducted the Surya Aradhana programme here at Indoor Stadium on Sunday.
Collector K Bhaskar, MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao and MLC Ramu Surya Rao launched the programme by lighting the Jyothi. The Collector stated that the Surya Aradhana and Surya Namaskarams give power and strength to the human body. “We get the power and strength with the sunrays following the Surya Namaskarams”, he added.
Eluru MLA Badeti Bujji, MLC Ramu Surya Rao said that Surya Namaskaram was not a religion’s event. The Surya Namaskaram improves immunity and metabolism in people if practiced regularly.
A large number of students, officers and people participated in the programme and conducted the Surya Namaskaram under the guidance of Dharma Rao and Jagadeshwara Rao. Eluru RDO G Chakradhara Rao, DEO C V Renuka, DSDO MA Aziz and others participated in the event.
