Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, more pertinently recognized as KCR is known for changing the constituencies, in each election. This time he is about to concentrate more on his home district, Medak, and has been closely monitoring the issues of his home district. He is intended to make the party even stronger in his home district.
According to the sources, KCR planned to contest from Medak for Loksabha in 2014 general elections. Also, it is likely that he would contest for state assembly from Gajwel constituency. KCR has been spending more time with his party leaders to held discussion on the subject matter at his farmhouse located in Errabelli in Jagadevpur mandal in Medak district.
KCR plans to contest both for Loksabha and state assembly?
In medak district there are 10 assembly constituencies: Sangareddy, Narsapur, Narayankhed, Gajwel, Zaheerabad, Andol, Siddipet, Medak, Patancheru and Dubbaka, apart from the two parliament constituencies - Medak and Dubbaka.
It is learnt that KCR has been personally involved in chalking out the intrinsic worth of the district. Also, for this very cause, he has been holding review meetings with the important leaders of the district. It is also learnt that he has carried out an unofficial survey to assess the situation of the district.
It has turned to be KCR’s aim to grab all the 12 seats in Medak district, according to the sources. KCR has been keeping the leaders with a black spot away; and not allowing them to join the party, added sources. Further, KCR has not been giving appointment to few MLAs who want to meet him to play cards. KCR will take a firm decision on the selection of the candidates for allocating tickets for all 10 constituencies except for Siddipet, from where Harish Rao will contest, as usual.
