Hyderabad: Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has resolved to wage a relentless fight against privatisation of State owned companies.
It also gave a call for ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ programme in association with farmer organisations in the last week of January to demand government to take over the Nizam Sugar factory at Bodhan.
The Nizamabad unit of the TJAC conducted a roundtable on measures to protect Nizam Sugar Factory from privatisation here on Friday.
TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram said after the meeting that it would collect signatures of all legislators of the region against the government’s decision to privatise State owned companies. He termed the government’s actions as unconstitutional.
TRS floor leader Etela Rajender, besides TJAC members Mallepalli Lakshmaiah, Addanki Dayaker, G Rajender Reddy and others took part.
