Call money cases rise to 58 in EG

Kakinada: The East Godavari police registered 12 more cases against call money operators on Friday, taking the total number of cases registered so far in East Godavari to 58.
According to special branch sources, 31 persons engaged in call money activities were arrested on Friday.
The arrested belong to Ramahandrapuram, Anaparty, Mandapeta, Ravulapalem and surrounding areas and blank cheques and promissory notes were seized from the accused. The raids are continuing and the arrests are expected to cross 100 in next two days, said sources.
