Call money accused in judicial remand

Vijayawada: APSPDCL divisional engineer Satyanandam, the fourth accused in call money case, who was arrested by the Ibrahimpatnam police on Thursday, was produced before the IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court here on Friday.
The court has ordered the judicial remand of Satyanandam for two weeks. It may be recalled that various women’s organisations staged a protest in the city when Satyanandam was granted anticipatory bail in call money case.
It may be noted that the Ibrahimpatnam police arrested Satyanandam over a complaint lodged by a resident of Ibrahimpatnam.
