Right from the morning, the shrines witnessed steady stream of devotees, who are keen on beginning their New Year on an auspicious note of visiting the temples for the grace of God. The traditional decorations, colourful illumination, devotional music and songs gave a touch of festivity to the temples adding more to their spiritual ambience.
Locals thronged the TTD temples at Appalayagunta (Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy), Srininvasamangapuram temple (Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy) and Tiruchanur (Goddess Sri Padmavathi) as well as other shrines in the city including Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy, Sri Govindaraja Swamy, Kapileswara Swamy to have darshan.
