Atmakur (Nellore): Following a report published by ‘The Hans India (‘Scam to secure loans in benami names unearthed’), Revenue Divisional Officer M V Ramana has cancelled allotment of 67 cents of agriculture land after conducting an inquiry. He has registered a criminal case against the computer operator who prepared the land pattas, as also against 18 ‘benami’ farmers. The RDO issued memos to Anantasagar MRO Somla Naik and the Chacharallapalli VRO.
