On the first day, senior officials from the transport and police departments will attend the main  inaugural meeting to be held at Maddilapalem depot in which drivers and mechanics will attend. 

Visakhapatnam: As part of the State-wide awareness programme, local region of APSRTC will observe Accident-Free Week from Friday in all its depots by organising awareness programmes, disclosed Regional Manager G Sudhesh Kumar.
Sudesh Kumar said that awareness will be created among drivers about the loss RTC incurs due to accidents and how to improve their concentration while on-duty.

On the first day, senior officials from the transport and police departments will attend the main inaugural meeting to be held at Maddilapalem depot in which drivers and mechanics will attend.

On the second day, eye testing and physical fitness tests will be conducted and on the third day, the best mechanics and shramiks will be given merit certificates.

On the fourth day, a unique programme of enlightening the family members of drivers will be held underscoring the importance of safety and emphasising the need for taking complete rest before attending to the duty.

On the fifth day, teams specially deployed will educate those who drive vehicles carelessly with high speed by giving necessary safety driving tips. On the sixth day, senior drivers having accident-free record will be felicitated in all depots.

while on the last day, a blood donation camp will be organised. He has called upon the entire RTC crew to rededicate themselves to the safety and security of the passengers.
