Justice N V Ramana, Dattatreya take holy dip
Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya and Supreme Court Judge Justice N V Ramana on Wednesday took holy dip at Punnami Ghat in the city and participated in Krishna Pushkaralu.
Vijayawada: Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya and Supreme Court Judge Justice N V Ramana on Wednesday took holy dip at Punnami Ghat in the city and participated in Krishna Pushkaralu.
The Union Minister also offered Pinda Pradanam to the departed members of his family. Speaking on the occasion, Dattatreya said that the State government made good arrangements for the pilgrims coming to Pushkaralu.
He lauded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Endowments Minister P Manikyala Rao for the arrangements. Justice Ramana also expressed his happiness over the arrangements at the ghats and elsewhere for the pilgrims.
“Everyone must love rivers and nature which are part of our life,” the Supreme Court Judge said. Further MLCs VVV Chowdary, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Paruchur MLA Eluru Sambasiva Rao, film actor Nara Rohit and Panchayat Raj Commissioner Ramanjaneyulu also took holy dip at Punnami Ghat.
