Vijayawada: Power giants of India-- The Reliance Infrastructure Limited, Adani Transmission Limited, Tata Power, AP Transco, Power Grid
Corporation of India and others-- have expressed their willingness to invest in construction of power projects in Amaravati region.

The APCRDA on Thursday conducted a workshop with top power giants in India at the CRDA office and explained the objectives of the
Government on construction of power projects on Pubic Private Partnership basis. The CRDA Commissioner, Cherukuri Sreedhar convened
the workshop and explained the requirements of State government.

Representatives of top power producers in the country attended the workshop and expressed their willingness to join hands with AP
Government on setting up of power projects in new capital Amaravati. In a press release here on Thursday, the chairman of CRDA said
the power corporate expressed willingness to invest in integrated service provision, transmission, distribution and metering projects.
