397-km railway lines electrified

The South central Railway (SCR) completed electrification of railway lines on its network to the extent of 397 km during the first quarter of the current fiscal i.e. April - June 2017.
Hyderabad: The South central Railway (SCR) completed electrification of railway lines on its network to the extent of 397 km during the first quarter of the current fiscal i.e. April - June 2017.
This record completion of 397 km electrification comes in comparison to 93 km commissioned during the last fiscal of 2016-17 and sets a high benchmark, reached for the first time, said a railway official. The sections completed during April - June 2017 are: Guntakal - Chiksugur, Nallapadu - Cumbum, Guntakal - Dhone and Gooty - Pendekallu
