Hyderabad High Court Judge Justice V Ramasubramanian on Tuesday digitally inaugurated the special court, a first of its kind in the state, for trying cases filed against MPs, MLAs and MLCs following the instructions of the Supreme Court.

Vijayawada: Hyderabad High Court Judge Justice V Ramasubramanian on Tuesday digitally inaugurated the special court, a first of its kind in the state, for trying cases filed against MPs, MLAs and MLCs following the instructions of the Supreme Court.

Justice Ramasubramanian, who is also the administrative judge of Krishna district, while inaugurating the special court, said the inauguration of new court would save precious time and energy and complimented the Andhra Pradesh government, for using information technology in improving transparency in the cases.

He also hailed the Krishna district judiciary not only for marching ahead in disposal of highest number of cases but also concentrating on alternative modes of dispute resolution.

Justice Ramasubramanian said the courts in Vijayawada became a role model for other courts across AP by adopting a digital mode. Eighth Additional District Judge N Ramesh Babu has been appointed as the judge of the special court.

Y Lakshmana Rao, Principal District Judge of Krishna district, Metropolitan Sessions Judge A V Ravindra Babu, Bezawada Bar Association president Somu Krishna Murthy and other judicial officers and bar members were present.
