Make bandh a grand success: YSRCP
YSRCP city working president Malladi Vishnu has appealed to people and political parties to extend their support for the state bandh to be observed on Tuesday
Vijayawada: YSRCP city working president Malladi Vishnu has appealed to people and political parties to extend their support for the state bandh to be observed on Tuesday.
Addressing the media at the state party office here on Monday, Malladi Vishnu said the YSRCP gave a call for bandh to take the Special Category Status (SCS) issue to the notice of the Union government. He said the fight for SCS was not related to politics and appealed to trade unions, student unions, businessmen, political parties and common people to take part in the state bandh actively and make it a grand success.
He said the TDP should extend support for the bandh. He alleged the TDP was cheating the people of Andhra Pradesh on the fight for the SCS. He reminded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had ridiculed YSRCP when party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had strongly demanded for the SCS.
Senior party leader Pyla Sominaidu was also present in the press meet. City party president Velampalli Srinivas also appealed to the people to take part in the bandh.
