Former CB-CID SP in race for YSRCP ticket

Parvathipuram (Vizianagaram): The retired officers and other professionals are approaching the political parties for tickets ahead of general elections.
Y Prembabu, who worked as Superintendent of Police in CBCID, vigilance and many wings with the police department joined YSRCP recently. He hails from Alajangi village in Balijipeta mandal in Parvathipuram constituency. He has been showing interest in politics for the past few years but he could not get the ticket from YSRCP in 2014 elections.
Now after retirement from service, he joined the party. He is expecting either Parvathipuram or Payakaraopeta Assembly consstituencies (both are reserved for SC community). He is in social work for the past few years and encouraging the poor students in education and providing books and paying school fees.
Similarly, J Prasanna Kumar, an executive engineer of Greater Vizag Municipal Corporation, has been working with YSRCP for the past seven years and contested in 2014 and was defeated by B Chiranjeevulu of TDP.
G Udayabhanu, an agriculture officer, also resigned from the job and working in the party. He was the coordinator for the past few years to YSRCP in Parvathipuram constituency. After Botcha Satyanarayana joined YSRCP, his close aide A Joga Rao was appointed as the coordinator for this constituency. As of now, the four leaders are trying to get the ticket from YSRCP from Parvathipuram constituency.
