Vijayawada: Mayor Koneru Sridhar inaugurated RamRaj Cotton showroom in the presence of its chairman KR Nagarajan and other staff members on MG road here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the mayor said Ramraj brand was a name for traditional clothing across the country.
The brand has a reputation for selling traditional outfits like Pancha, Dothi, Kurtha and other cotton custom wear for all ages.
He informed that earlier the first showroom was inaugurated at Besant road and with a good business, the management decided to open the second show room.
He asked the management of RamRaj to establish a manufacturing unit in AP and the government would support in all ways which would intern provide employment to the people of the state.
RamRaj cotton chairman Nagarajan expressed his happiness for opening their second showroom in Vijayawada, 121st showroom across the country with 1,200 dealers.
He said that the driving force of the company was quality without compromise.
