Singapore flights from Oct 25
Ajay Jain, Principal Secretary, Energy and CRDA, has disclosed that direct flights from Vijayawada to Singapore will come into operation from 25th of this month
Vijayawada: Ajay Jain, Principal Secretary, Energy and CRDA, has disclosed that direct flights from Vijayawada to Singapore will come into operation from 25th of this month.
The flights would be available to travel from Vijayawada to Singapore for two days in a week on every Tuesday and Thursday.
The Indigo Airlines would operate the services. He further appealed to all international passengers to avail this service to travel to Singapore from Vijayawada which is introduced for their utmost convenience.
Keeping in tune with the vision of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu to create world class aviation infrastructure in the State and to provide reliable and seamless air connectivity to regional, national and international destinations by 2022, the Infrastructure Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh on Friday has reached another milestone by taking decision to introduce a new international flight service.
Ajay Jain, who is camping at Srikakulam to oversee the restoration works in the Titli cyclone-affected areas, appealed to all international passengers to avail of this service to travel to Singapore from Vijayawada which is introduced for their convenience.
The Infrastructure Department is fully geared up to promote development of aviation infrastructure and reach the goal of making Andhra Pradesh a preferred destination for investment by creating airports as hubs to enhance economic activity in the state, Ajay Jain said.
