Tirumala: In a traditional practice, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal presented silk clothes to Sri Ranganadha Swamy at Srirangam in Tamil Nadu on Monday. On the auspicious day of Kaisika Ekadasi every year, TTD offers pattu vastrams to the presiding deity in Srirangam.

TTD has been offering the silk vastrams since 2006 to this ancient and famous Sri Vaishnavite temple. It may be mentioned here that the Srirangam Devasthanam representatives offer silk clothes to Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala on the auspicious day of Anivara Asthanam every year.

On his arrival to the entrance of the temple, TTD EO and team of officers from TTD were offered grand reception by the Joint Commissioner of Srirangam temple P Jayaraman and chief priest of the temple Sunder Bhattar in a traditional manner. Parupattedar Ramachandra and Bokkasam In-charge Raja Rao were also present.
