Stress on creating awareness on energy conservation

Guntur: On the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day, District Collector Kona Sasidhar flagged off a rally at the Collectorate to create awareness on National Energy Conservation Day.
Speaking on this occasion, Kona Sasidhar stressed on need to save energy and to create awareness on the need to save energy. He urged the people not to use energy where its usage is not required.
He directed the officials to create awareness and distribute pamphlets to the people. He added that on the occasion of Energy Conservation Week from December 14 to 20, there is need to create awareness on energy conservation.
SPDCL Superintending Engineer B.Jayabharat Rao said that they are conducting elocution and drawing competitions to the students on energy conservation to the students and distribute prizes to the prize winners.
S.P.DCL officials J.Haribabu, N.Pichaiah, E.Balarami Reddy were among those present.
