Adikavi Nannaya University AKNU ball badminton team boys bagged third place in All India Inter University Tournaments held from December 12 to 16 at SRM University in Tamilnadu
Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) ball badminton team (boys) bagged third place in All India Inter University Tournaments held from December 12 to 16 at SRM University in Tamilnadu.
Congratulating the team members, AKNU vice-chancellor Prof S Narasimha Rao has said that the students of the university bringing name and fame to the university at national level by proving their mettle.
The team also bagged second place in CM's Cup Tournament, he added. University is encouraging the students in all its 400 affiliated colleges in twin Godavari districts.
Later, he felicitated team manager Srinivas Reddy, coach V Venkata Rao, captain Sivakumar Reddy, members S Ajay, Ch Mutyala Naidu, N Srinu, H Santosh Sagar, B Sivanaga Raju, KS Siva Prasad, G Mahesh, M Sairam and TSSC Reddy.
Rector Prof Suresh Varma, Registrar Prof S Teki sports board coordinator KS Rao, secretary Dr B Ram Gopal and others were present.
