Kakinada: Rich tributes were paid to NTR on his 23rd death anniversary on Friday.

At the programme organised at NTR statue in Sarpavaram junction here, deputy CM N Chinarajappa said that late NTR was leader of masses and strived for uplift of poor and downtrodden.

NTR also played key role in uniting the opposition parties at national level and fought for self-respect of Telugu people, Chinarajappa reiterated.

Kakinada Rural MLA P Anantalakshmi, TDP disrict secretary P Satyanarayana Murthy, TDP leader Bolla Krishna Mohan and others participated.
