Jindok Group signs MoU with SSIM for zero carbon emission campus

Hyderabad: The US-based Jindok Group has come out with financed, turn-key energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions for villages and cities in Telangana state.

Jindok India Group entered into a MoU with Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM) on Wednesday to create the first ZEN campus in the country. It gives an opportunity for JIG to demonstrate its clean technology and energy management solutions to other institutes in the state. The acronym ZEN stands for Net Zero Carbon Emission Area with Net Zero Investment. Suter Du Bose, Managing Director of Business Development and Technology, Jindok Group spoke to The Hans India during his visit to the SSIM campus.

“We offer clean energy solutions and energy management systems to meet the requirements of Telangana and Hyderabad. The cutting edge energy storage and micro-grid technology can also meet energy requirement of villages where there is no electricity,” Suter Du Bose said.

He said 70 percent of power is generated in India through coal based power plants, which release large amounts of carbon into the air while 30 percent of power is lost during transmission and distribution.

“The losses can be avoided and energy requirements of villages can be met locally through clean and efficient energy systems,” he suggested.

In view of the recent advances in energy efficiency and renewable energy, the JIG claims that its microgrid systems will deliver clean energy to the villages at less cost than traditional centralized coal-generated and grid-delivered energy. The systems are scalable to meet the needs of an average village or metropolitan city with virtually no carbon emissions.

The JIG claims that its financial programs enable delivery of turn-key clean energy solutions to market significantly below current usage price with Zero Net Cost to the government.
