Heartless is similar to the English medical thriller Awake. The movie is about the affects of anesthasia and how despite the effect one is aware of what's happening around.
Although the central theme is well adapted, Shekar has added a dose of rich boy meets poor girl angle to make it look like Bollywood film which is a major put off. The movie otherwise is certainly watchable.
