Having won the toss, the Telugu Warriors opted to field first.

Opener M Tiwari got the Bhojpuri Dabanggs to a flying start with a blistering 40-ball 70. He was backed well by Ojha who scored 29 runs. But just when it looked like the Dabanggs were headed for a huge total, Akkineni Adarsh stepped in with a brilliant bowling spell scalping five wickets for just five runs. The Dabanggs were eventually bowled out for 140 in the 19th over.
Opener Raghu’s hard-fought half century kept the Warriors in the game till the 13th over before he was dismissed by Jais. Sudhir Babu (26) and Nandakishore fought it out till the end to bring the Warriors home off the last ball of the innings and win the match by two wickets.
