Vishnuvardhan's Khaidi re-release a hit

Vishnuvardhan\'s Khaidi re-release a hit, Chiranjeevi\'s Khaidi, Vishnuvardhan\'s Khaidi Release. Now, the news is that the Kannad movie was digitally re-mastered and re-released in theatres on the same day it was released thirty years ago.
Remember Chiranjeevi's Khaidi? Yes, the movie that was released eons ago at a time when the actor had only begun his filmi career. The same was remade in Kannada too with the then angry young man of Sandalwood, Sahasasimha Vishnuvardhan.
The remake too was titled Khaidi and pushed Vishnu's star status to a different level.
Now, the news is that the Kannad movie was digitally re-mastered and re-released in theatres on the same day it was released thirty years ago.
This was a real feast for the fans of Vishnu. The buzz doing the rounds in Gandhinagar circles is that the movie was released on demand by his fans. The film also stars Aarathi, jayamalini and MAdhavi.
The latest reports coming in suggest that the response to the re-released version has been overwhelming.
It's worth mentioning here that Kicha Sudeep too was in awe of Vishnu and thronged the theatre to watch the show. Fans too are flocking theatres in large numbers.
Vishnuvarshan, considered the phoenix of Indian cinema passed away in December 2009. He was endowed with titles such as Sahasasimha and Abhinava Bhargava.
