Ala Ela’ director Anish R Krishna’s long wait of taking his second project on to floors will be a reality soon, as producer Dil Raju with whom he has been in touch for the past eight months, has finally green-lit his idea. Sources close to Sri Venkateswara Creations told Talkies that Anish is ready with the bound script but he’d be working on some changes that Raju suggested.
A source close to the development confirms, “It has been a long wait for Anish to get his second film going. He was supposed to direct ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ (Malayalam) remake with Allari Naresh but as the project kept on getting delayed, he got back to Raju who said that he is ready to get his project rolling.
In fact, it was the producer who got the nod of Raj Tarun for the script. It’s a romantic crime thriller interspersed with humour. Anish would be sitting on the story for another two months before taking it off the ground this monsoon. The plan is to shoot a major part of the film in Kerala.”
