Starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel, the movie got grandly released today. The trailer and audio of the movie have already garnered a positive response from the audience. S Radha Krishna, Naga Vamsi, and PDV Prasad bankrolled the project under the production banner of Sithara Entertainments. Veteran actress Ramya Krishna played yet another powerful role in the film. The movie unit is super-confident that the film came out really well and is going to impress the audience. Let's see whether the movie has reached the expectations or not.
Chaitanya aka Chaitu (Naga Chaitanya) is an easy going and kind hearted person. He falls in love with a rich girl named as Anu Reddy (Anu Emmanuel). Anu has an extremely egoistic and arrogant personality. Over time, she starts developing her feelings towards Chaitu. However, theirs is not an easy love story as Anu's mother Sailaja Reddy (Ramya Krishna) becomes an obstacle. Now, Chaitu has to convince Sailaja Reddy to marry his lady love. How Chaitu gets sandwiched between two egoistic females and how he impresses his mother-in-law forms the crux of the story.
Naga Chaitanya delivered a good performance. He played an extremely different kind of role when compared to his previous films. He looked handsome and will impress the audience not only with his good looks but also with his subtle performance. Anu Emmanuel looked beautiful in this film. The chemistry between the lead pair worked out well. Ramya Krishna is a major highlight of the film and will impress the audience. Vennela Kishore got another meaty role in the movie. His scenes will make the audience laugh their heart out. Naresh, Murali Sharma, and Prudhvi Raj also delivered the best performances. The rest of the cast members also made their presence felt.
The movie does not have a complicated story but just deals with a simple and clear story. The way Director Maruthi Dasari handled the simple yet cute story will make us fall in love. His comedy timing is excellent and has showcased his directional skills.
The production values by Sithara Entertainments banner are lavish. Gopi Sundar's music takes the bigger piece of the cake. He makes the audience get involved in the story more. Cinematography by Nizar Shafi is too good. He has captured some picturesque locations. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is neat. The runtime is crisp. On the whole, the technical team has lived up to the expectations.
Maruthi mark comedy is the first thing that will appeal to the audience about the film. After a long time, he brought back the 'mother-in-law and son-in-law theme with this film. The first half features the sizzling chemistry between the leads and some hilarious comedy scenes.
The second half deals with some gentle comedy and engages the audience. The movie has not only reached the expectations but surpassed them. Naga Chaitanya will definitely score a hit this time. The movie is an interesting and feel-good family entertainer. If you want to watch a movie that makes you laugh so hard, 'Sailaja Reddy Alludu' is for you.
