5 killed in road mishap. Five persons were killed and seven seriously hurt when an auto trolley in which they were travelling overturned at Jukkal crossroads in Bichkunda in the district on Sunday.
Nizamabad: Five persons were killed and seven seriously hurt when an auto trolley in which they were travelling overturned at Jukkal crossroads in Bichkunda in the district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Soni of Mega village in Madnur mandal, her father Baswant, Lakshmibai and Gangubai of Lakshmapur and Rajulu (25) of Gopanpalli. The injured passengers were shifted to hospitals in Nizamabad for treatment. They had gone to Kodangal village in Pitla mandal in connection with farm work and were returning home. A tractor whose tyres were punctured was stranded on the road and boulders were kept around it. The auto while crossing the tractor, passed over the boulder and turned turtle.
