Six die, four seriously injured in road mishap
In a ghastly accident, six persons, including two women, died near Gagilapur on Medak highway under Dundigal police station limits on Wednesday. Four others suffered grievous injuries.
Hyderabad: In a ghastly accident, six persons, including two women, died near Gagilapur on Medak highway under Dundigal police station limits on Wednesday. Four others suffered grievous injuries.
Head-on collision between a speeding lorry and tractor resulted in tragedy. The dead in the accident were residents of Kowdipally in Medak district. All those died and injured in the accident were travelling on a tractor on their return journey to Gagilapur after attending a function held at Vengamamba temple at Suraram colony.
The deceased were identified as Naveen Goud, 23, Anjamma, 60, Bheemaiah, 58, Chintu, 14, Renuka, 20 and Maulana Saheb, 50. While Teja, 13, Shobha, 23, Bhavani, 20 and Sridevi, 2 were shifted to a local hospital for treatment.
