Nalgonda: Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday called upon people to cast votes after giving much thought. Addressing public meetings at Kodad, Haliya, Chundur, Nakrekal, Tirumalgiri, Huzurnagar, Miryalaguda and Suryapet, he remarked that the ensuing elections were not to be take lightly (ashamashi kadu). Voters should give a serious thought in whose hands Telangana would be safe. KCR assured that the party would implement ITDA schemes to benefit Girijans in Devarakonda, Nalgonda and Nizamabad areas. Within four months of TRS coming to power, orders would be issued on conversion of tribal thandas in Devarakonda into gram panchayats. Loans to SHGs would be doubled to Rs 10 lakh. All assurances given in the election manifesto would be implemented.

The Dindi project too was neglected. He blamed the Congress and TDP governments for the sale of girl child and suicides. He pledged to ensure completion of various projects by ‘sitting at the work spots’. He blasted TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of being a ‘demon’ and ‘uncouth’ and ‘trying to stall Telangana in the guise of a BJP ally’. The TRS chief stressed that posts were not important for him. “I will show what development is if people voted TRS to power,” he said.
