Now, WiFi at MGBS

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Joint Managing Director (MD), GV Ramana Rao inaugurated the Wi-Fi Connectivity services at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) on Monday.

Considering the present day requirements, TSRTC has taken a novel initiative of providing high speed (2 to 10 MBPS) internet connectivity to passengers waiting to board the buses at MGBS and Jubilee Bus Station (JBS); a 5G carrier grade WiFi network has been established at these stations.
The facility is being provided in association with QuadGen Wireless Solutions Pvt Ltd, utilising BSNL backbone. Passengers will be charged a onetime usage fee for 15 minutes. In addition, different packages in both prepaid and postpaid modes are available.
Further, a decision has been taken to provide this facility to other TSRTC Bus Stations viz. Warangal, Karimnagar, Patancheru, Nalgonda, Kammam, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar and Adilabad.
ED (E,M&A) and Corporation Secretary, M Ravinder; ED (GHZ&IT), Purushotham Nayak; ED (HZ), Nagaraju; Chief Engineer (IT), RV Jayanth; Rangareddy Region Regional Manager, Gangadhar; Divisional Manager, Vijay Bhanu; Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer, Venkanna and other officers and staff have attended the inauguration.
