250 bikers detained for overspeeding

Hyderabad: To keep a check on the overspeeding riders in a special drive conducted by the police on Necklace Road
on Sunday. During the early-hour operation launched jointly by the Ramgopalpet police and Lake police, as many as 250 bike riders were detained by the police.
Over 100 of those detained were found to be minors in the aged below 16. The police cordoned off the roads at Necklace road railway station and Lake police station by deploying two teams comprising 25 members each and caught the racers.
