Graduation ceremony marks Youth Day
In a befitting celebration of ‘International Youth Day’, which was on August 12, Gurunanak Institute of Engineering & Technology conducted its ‘Graduation and Placement Day’ in Ibrahimpatnam on Friday.
In a befitting celebration of ‘International Youth Day’, which was on August 12, Gurunanak Institute of Engineering & Technology conducted its ‘Graduation and Placement Day’ in Ibrahimpatnam on Friday.
About 1,000 students graduated from the institute and upto 30 pupils were awarded with gold medals for their outstanding performance in their respective engineering field. Prof T Papi Reddy, Chairman of Telangana State Council Of Higher Education (TSCHE) handed over certificates and medals to the outgoing students.
In addition, upto 672 students got placed in companies and they were awarded the ‘placement certificates’ along with their degrees.
Addressing the students, Sardar GS Kohli, Vice-Chairman of the institutions said, “It feels great to see so many students getting placed while graduating. With initiatives of our staff and management team, we at GNI feel proud for our students.”
