Waqf Board chairman inspects eid arrangements at Eid Gah
State Waqf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem, MIM legislator Moazzam Khan along with officials of GHMC, Water Board, police and Electricity Department officials inspected the Eid Gah Mir Alam on Monday.
Charminar: State Waqf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem, MIM legislator Moazzam Khan along with officials of GHMC, Water Board, police and Electricity Department officials inspected the Eid Gah Mir Alam on Monday.
Saleem asked the line departments to carry out proper arrangements for the Eid prayers which was tentatively scheduled to fall on Friday. He inspected the works related to temporary tents for prayers on the occasion.
He instructed the police officials to ensure that proper security arrangements were put in place. The chairman instructed the municipal officials to take care of sanitation and maintain cleanliness on the ground. He asked the Water Board officials to ensure that drinking water was supplied to the devotees without any inconvenience during Eid prayers. He asked the officials to give him the data of encroached land of Eid Gah. Several illegal structures have cropped up on the Eid Gah premises.
