Khammam: District leader of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) Yerra Srinivas said several agitations would be taken up under T-Mass from January 2 to 26, against the anti-people policies of the State and Central governments.

Speaking at a meeting held with the representatives of various people’s organisations under the leadership of Bandaru Yakaiah here at CPM party office in three town of Khammam on Thursday, Srinivas said middleclass people and poor were suffering a lot due to new reforms introduced by the Central government and the anti-people policies adopted by both the Central and State governments.

Stating that T-Mass will strive for solving various people issues, he said equal importance would be given to the people belonging to various communities in the committees of T-Mass, to be formed from January onwards from division to State level, he said.

After conducting a survey in all the divisions on the issues the people are facing with, a rely hunger strike would be held under T-Mass demanding the government early redressal of issues, he added. Party leaders T Lingaiah, B Veera Babu, Bukya Srinivas, Y Gopi, Sulochana, Sukanya, Sathyanarayana, Y Naresh, Md Pasha and Veerabhdram were present along with others.
