Bhongir MP asks officials to complete MPLADS works

Bhongir: Member of Parliament Bhoora Narsaiah Goud has directed the officials concerned to complete the works which are taken up under Members of Parliament Local Area Development scheme (MPLADS) in the district.

Narasaih Goud along with District Collector Anitha Ramachandran were holding a review meeting with the officials on the progress of modernisation works of Dharmareddy, Pillaipally and Bhunadigani canals and works taken up under MPLADS.

Speaking on this occasion, the MP directed the officials to complete the works of the community halls, additional classrooms at the earliest. He suggested to the officers that old tenders may be cancelled, and new tenders may be invited for works which were not yet launched. He advised the officials to provide necessary facilities to contractors to speed up the works.

He urged officials to pay special attention to acquire required land for the establishment of CCMB at Pagidipally and Industrial park at Guddi Malkapur in the district. He requested the district administration to secure land for the establishment of plastic industry in the district which would provide employment to 500 youths in the region.

District Collector Anitha Ramachandran directed the officials to pay attention on land acquisition for the establishment of industries as suggested by the local MP. She assured the MP that she would hold weekly review meeting on the works being carried out under MPLADS.

Joint Collector Ravi Naik, RDOs Bhupal Reddy, Suraj Kumar, Irrigation Department Executive Engineer Ramakrishna Reddy, Deputy Collector (LA) Shivaji and other district officials participated.
