ACA announces Rs 50,000 cash prize snehaVijayawada: Sneha Deepthi is the first woman cricketer from Andhra selected for Indian women's cricket team.A Sneha Deepthi, hails from Vizag, but was trained in Women's Cricket Academy in Guntur. Andhra Cricket Association secretary Gokaraju Gangaraju here on Wednesday congratulated Deepti for her selection. Speaking on the occasion, Ganga Raju expressed satisfaction over women's team performance. He also announced Rs 50,000 cash prize to Sneha Deepthi. Andhra Cricket Association cricketing operations director MSK Prasad said that the Andhra Cricket Association was giving priority to the development of women cricket. He further stated that they would adopt 10 schools and 250 girls under Woman's Cricket Academy. International Women Cricket coach Maria Martin and Andhra Cricket Association vice president J Narendranath were present.
