Kurnool: A large number of eunuchs went on padayatra from Nandyal to Hyderabad under the aegis of the Bharata Samata Hijrala Hakkula Porata Samiti on Thursday to register protest against the treatment meted out to them.
The president of eunuchs' society, Vijay Kumar, said that they were being treated inhumanly as untouchables.
He said that eunuchs should be treated with dignity and respect. The government should provide them with ration cards and aadhaar cards, he said.
