Amaravati: AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao participated in the 70th Republic day celebration and hoisted the national flag at the Assembly premises on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Speaker said that the AP Assembly sessions will begin from 30 January. On the first day of the sessions, Governor ESL Narasimhan will address the AP Legislative Assembly proceedings.

On 31 January, the Assembly will pay tributes to the members who have passed away. February 1,2,3 are declared as holidays for the Assembly.

On 4 February, Resolution of Thanksgiving to Governor's Speech will be conducted. The Assembly will present the vote-on-account budget on February 5th.

The discussion on the budget will continue from 6 - 8 February. These sessions will be the last for the Assembly as the elections are coming near, Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said.
