Nizamabad: TRS MLC R Bhupathi Reddy lashed out at the Congress leaders for deliberately spreading lies and falsehood, thereby, misleading the youth with regard to the non-filling up of vacant posts in the State government.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, he said that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was taking steps to fill up the vacant posts and the youth were not in a disappointed state.
The TRS leader said that it was unfortunate that the Congress, TDP and T-JAC leaders were making baseless allegations against the TRS government which was striving to provide jobs to the unemployed youth.
He said that KCR was right when he mentioned in the State Assembly that there were 50,000 vacancies in various government departments before the formation of the State government.
But, 20,000 government employees hailing from the Andhra region were still continuing in the Telangana region.
Bhupati Reddy said that the State government was committed to provide thousands of jobs to the unemployed and asked the Opposition leaders to desist from spreading falsehood against KCR only to tarnish his image. Justice would be done to the unemployment youth, he added.
He wondered as to why that the same leaders kept quiet when injustice was being done to youth in the undivided State of Andhra Pradesh. He urged the Opposition leaders to cooperate with the government in developing Telangana State.
District TRS president E Ganga Reddy,TRS politburo member A Poshetty and others were present.
