Gurur Brahma Neeve... Param Jyothi Neeve..., singing this ecstatic line of adoration to the Supreme Teacher, singing His glories galore, students from the SSSIHL, Prasanthi Nilayam campus presented a soulful Guru Pournima morning today here in, Prasanthi Nilayam.
Guru Pournima comes with the potent message of the supreme significance of the SadhGuru, Who, at the end of the search is found within, as the Source and Force, the inherent Divinity.
Today, as the day dawned at the end of week-long celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam, it was glories galore for the SadhGuru that was heard all along, as the students sang a series of devotionals of the theme - SadhGuru, interspersed with commentary at the Sanctum Sanctorum propitiating Sai Supreme. Adding luster to the morning, there was an intermittent dance offering to the tune of Gurur Brahma Neeve... Param Jyothi Neeve.
Addressing the packed assembly of devotees, Sri V Srinivasan, Trust Member, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, expounded on the supreme importance of the SadhGuru, Who Is verily The One and Only Master. Reminding fellow devotees that they should not get caught in the mundane, pedantic actions of the world, the veteran speaker asked them to get connected to the Divine Energy of Sai, tuning in at the Brahma Muhurtha, as part of their Sadhana.
Seva becomes seva only, when it is done selflessly with the understanding that He alone is the Doer, said Sri V Srinivasan, speaking on the importance of selfless service as defined by Bhagawan. He preferred 'satsangh' over 'meeting', as satsangh allows one to connect to the inner source, tuning into the heart. Our actions have to originate from our heart.
Touching upon the malady of social media rampage that is engulfing the world at large, Sri Srinivasan advised the devotees to focus on the Inner net and not the internet.
Bhagawan has come not to solve the worldly problems, but with the sole agenda of transforming man, to help him realize his innate Divinity, concluded the speaker on a high note.
Bhagawan's exhilarating Divine discourse followed next, aired on the public address system. Bhagawan stressed on the importance of Fear of Sin, Love for God and Morality In Society.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi at 1030 hrs.
Earlier, the session at the Sai Kulwant Hall commenced at 0820 hrs with the Institute percussion band playing devotional tunes.
