Indian women's sepaktakraw team ended its disappointing show at the World Super Series with third consecutive loss after suffering a defeat at the hands of South Korea in their last group stage match 3-0 (5-15, 8-15, 6-15) here on Friday. Indian eves were already out of contention for a semifinal berth. The national women's team had earlier lost 10-15, 10-15, 8-15 to Indonesia and 3-15, 7-15, 9-15 to second seeds Vietnam on the opening day at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Indian eves were already out of contention for a semifinal berth. The national women's team had earlier lost 10-15, 10-15, 8-15 to Indonesia and 3-15, 7-15, 9-15 to second seeds Vietnam on the opening day at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Dolly Srivastava, C Chaouba Devi and Keinelino Nakhro lost the first set tamely before putting up a fighting display in the second. They, however failed to maintain their momentum in the final set. In Group A matches, Malaysia defeated Japan 15-9 ,15-11, 15-11, 15-12 to book their semi-final slot, while Indonesia posted a 15-12, 15-7, 15-8 win against Vietnam.
