New Delhi: The rising competition in the telecom sector is forcing telecom giants to roll out cost-effective new plans which gives plenty amount of data to its users. Previously, Vodafone launched a plan of Rs 119 with calling and data benefits for its customers. Now the service provider has now rolled out another prepaid plan for Rs 129.
Under this Rs 129 plan, Vodafone gives unlimited calling with 100 SMS per day. The plan does not give any FUP limit on calling; this means customers don’t have to be bothered about a cap of 250 minutes for daily calling. The plan also offers 1.5GB data per day and provides 28 days of validity.
This Vodafone’s new plan will compete against its own Rs 119 plan. Under Rs 119 plan the users get the same unlimited calling and SMS facility. Under this, they are offered 1GB data per day. This plan also gives a validity period of 28 days. But it is not sure whether the customers will opt for this plan or not as they can get 500MB more data by just paying an extra Rs 10.
This Vodafone’s latest plan of Rs 129 will compete against Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 plan. As part of the plan, Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom operator offers unlimited calling and data benefit with 100 SMS per day. This plan comes with a validity of 28 days and users can avail 1.5GB data per day. In addition to this users also get free access to the Jio Suite apps which include JioTV, JioCinema and more.
Recently, Vodafone rolled out a prepaid plan of Rs 509. The plan comes with a validity of 90 days and it provides unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. The plan also offer data benefit of 1.5GB data per day.
