Mobile handset maker Micromax has launched a large screen phablet called Canvas XL. Priced at Rs 13,990, the new product will be exclusively available on Homeshop18 TV channel and website starting from January 19. To make the purchase more exciting, the online retailer will offer special gifts and freebies worth Rs 6,498 with the phone. The Canvas XL is a dual-SIM phablet with dual standby. Featuring a 6-inch display, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which will get some Micromax-specific apps. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Homeshop18 will start taking orders for the smartphone from 10AM onwards on January 19, and the device will be delivered without any shipping charges. Apart from the TV channel and website, users can also place orders via the online retailer’s mobile apps.
