Telangana TDP has drawn up a series of agitations including padayatras against the TRS government’s anti- people policies and decisions. The party legislators held a two-hour meeting in the Assembly here on Saturday and decided to take on the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for the latter’s decisions against the interests of the people in the last one year.

Hyderabad: Telangana TDP has drawn up a series of agitations including padayatras against the TRS government’s anti- people policies and decisions. The party legislators held a two-hour meeting in the Assembly here on Saturday and decided to take on the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for the latter’s decisions against the interests of the people in the last one year.


The party would fight against the government for its failure in stopping Karnataka from constructing illegal projects on Krishna river, introduction of cheap liquor sale through licensed wine shops, change in the designs of the Pranahita- Chevella project and the poaching of the TDP leaders.


Party Working President E Dayakar Rao said that the party MLA T Prakash Goud would embark on a padayatra on Pranahita project and party senior leader R Chandrasekhar Reddy and A Rajendar Reddy would fight on illegal projects on Krishna river. TDP Women’s wing leader Shobha Rani would launch an agitation against cheap liquor from Gajwel assembly constituency, represented by the Chief Minister.
