Ramagundam (Karimnagar): Director (Operations) NTPC K K Sharma highlighted on the progress of the company and the challenges ahead in the changing scenario with special thrust on improving efficiency in production, taking care of the environment, optimization of production cost and safety at work place.

He inaugurated the 16th Regional Operational Performance Review (ROPR) at NTPC-Ramagundam on Thursday.

During the review meeting, issues pertaining power generation, progress, hurdles and the plans ahead of southern region’s thermal power plants were discussed in detail.

Director (Operations) Sharma also interacted with young executives and motivated them to give their best to achieve both personal and organisational growth with the thrust on Involvement, Reliability, Affordability and Availability (IRAA).

Along with senior officials, Sharma visited prominent locations of the plant. Later, he also interacted with office bearers of different Union and Associations.

Earlier, in the morning, Sharma inaugurated the Safety Induction Centre and asked all to make it habit to use Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) for safety.

ED-Ramagundam Prasant Kumar Mohapatra, senior officials from Southern Region Headquarters, NTPC and others senior officials from Ramagundam were present on the occasion.
